Naturally I’m a homebody. Even as a teenager I would rather stay inside to watch TV, play board games and yes sleep. My close friends have a running joke that I want to be invited to every event even though I have no intention of showing up. Maybe that makes me a less than perfect friend but the truth is I despise the hassle of going out, I always have and always will. Funny enough, I love planning dinner parties, brunches, and theme parties (I hosted an awesome Cinco de Mayo Fiesta last year) but I like to keep things intimate and low key. Hosting events at my home feels cozy, comfortable and feels like less of a burden to me and the guests. I say all this to somewhat explain why I created this space and how I developed a passion for Interior Decorating and styling. Since Im a homebody, I spend a a lot of time in the house, I sometimes get cabin fever but the way I combat it is organizing and reorganizing closets, getting rid of old clothes and yes decorating and re-decorating rooms in my home. I would like to think I’ve become very good at it and hope to inspire other homebodies like myself to embrace your inner “hermit” and start revamping your space with me.
