My name is Danae Pugh Im originally from the city of brotherly love, Philadelphia. I graduated from Fordham University in 2008, then went on to study Organizational Development and Leadership at Saint Joseph’s University. I currently work for the government and have spent the last 11 almost 12 years of my life in a cubicle (fun right?).
I have been married to my amazing husband Torey for 8 years and we have two gorgeous daughters (who resemble me lol) Parker who is 8 and Scout who is 1. We are the normal family, or that’s what I would like to think. We are currently spending most of our days getting ready for the holidays. I have so many activities planned that I can hardly keep up I started this blog to showcase several of my design projects, walk you through the projects I have planned for my home, and essentially inspire people to create spaces they love. I wouldn’t say we live in our dream home but its pretty close. My husband and I go back and forth with the idea of moving into a bigger home in the future but for now we’re in love with customizing and making our house the perfect home. Our 3000 sq. foot home we had built about 3 years ago and it has all the necessary space for our family of four. Its a blank canvas so it has allowed me to let my creative juices flow. Newly built homes can be a headache, nail pops, settling, the whole construction process is long, tiring and tedious but the end result is a beautiful space made for just you. I’ll share some of the raw photos of our home before we actually moved in. We’ve made a lot of progress during the 3 years and I can say that our house is slowly but surely becoming the home we dreamed of.
